Rules
To play soccer it is necessary to know the rules. The governing body for soccer on this planet is FIFA. A link to the "Laws of the Game" is below.
Modifications have been made to the Laws of the Game to enhance the development of youth players and their playing experience. These are the modifications used by the North West Soccer Club (NWSC).
The State of Indiana has a governing body for soccer, the Indiana Youth Soccer Association (IYSA), and they have a range of modifications to select from to allow for the differences between clubs. These are the modifications recommended by the IYSA. (There is some variation among the state associations, but they are all similar in nature and intent.)

Soccer on TV
To enhance the soccer experience it is very helpful for players to watch professional soccer games. This exposure helps with technique, tactics, and strategy.

Travel Clubs (Competative Soccer)
There are four travel clubs in Tippecanoe County - available links and contact information are listed in alphabetical order below. (There is some variation among the clubs, but they are all similar in nature and intent.) All travel clubs in Indiana are governed by the IYSA.
GLSC - Greater Lafayette Soccer Club. This club is for high schools ages in Tippecanoe County and only operates in the spring season (the high school season is in the fall).

Jr Bronchos - Lafayette Soccer Club The teams in this club are generally composed of players from the Lafayette Jefferson High School area.
Little Mavs - Little Maverics Soccer Club The teams in this club are generally composed of players from the McCutcheon High School area.
Tippco - Tippecanoe Soccer Association The teams in this club are generally composed of players from the Harrison High School and West Lafayette High School areas.
